What a great trip !

2014 starts on a good note. We had a really good trip to Tonbridge. Here are a overview of what happened :
Sunday, 15th December
We arrived at 9 :00 AM and at first we stopped at a supermarket to take our breakfast.
After we left the L and ES class at the supermarket parking to leave them with their family.
Then we went to London and we visited the Science museum. Later we had a free time and we went to Harrods. It’s a big chic shopping center witch basically it’s very expensive.
At least we had a little bus tour in London and we meet our family and went to their  house. We ate what they done for us and get to bed because we were very tired because of the bus travel.

Monday, 16th December

MORNING:
We went to the library and Tunbridge wells Museum and Art Gallery, we saw paintings of the Camden’s family and many objects of Tunbridge wells history.

We drew a portrait like we saw in the exposition.
After that, we went to shopping and to eat to the Royal Victoria Place.
AFTERNOON:
We visited the Coca Cola Sidcup. Caroline, the manager, presented us the Sidcup who was built in 1961 and after strict rules to follow, she given us equipments : hair protection , jacket of security and head phones . Then, we discovered the industry where the coke and other products are made. We saw how the coca is wrapped and when the cans or the bottle have a problem, on the spot the machines stoped working and an employe comes and fixes the problem.
We asked to Caroline some questions about Sidcup:
we learnt that Sidcup produce Coca Cola in different size and different materials. Moreover, they produce other brands like Powerade and Schweppes.

Tuesday 17th December

When we came to London, we visited  the BBC studios with the 1ES/L but we were split in two groups. We had a little presentation of BBC, then we saw some different studios, like the drama studio, where we did the “drama” activity (some of us tried to make souds while some of us did a little scene only by talking), or the reporter studio, where two of each groups made a little funny presentation of the news and one did the weather.
After the visit, we had about four hours of free time in London, so we walked threw the Oxford street, and other very expensive streets, we shopped all the day; we visited a lot of shops, like primarkt, a very cheap and giant shop where we buyed clothes, and other little shops where we buyed anything and nothing…
We had a lot of fun,  and the BBC studios were very interesting.
Simply a great day!
At the evening, we came back in our houses where we ate with the families, some of us did acitivities or games, like poker...
And then we went to sleep

A day in London

We spent our 3rd day in London. We started by a walking tour where we saw most of London's main attractions (even the Queen being driven to Downing street...). We had the rest of  the day to enjoy christmas shopping. A quick tour by bus to see London by night and we are back in Tonbridge.
